Around a star
Walking down the
hall when you’re pondering all
Can wake you up, or
take you up to all of the ones that you’re reading about
From the racks and
the lines, and it’s almost time to open the door, so you make a little more
And spend it on
whatever turns you on and on
As you take and you
give while you’re trying to live
With a message to
another point of view I can see, “Can you see it too?”
Thinking about
every single one that’s spinning around for what I don’t know
We come and we go
as we’re tumbling around a star
Said we’re tumbling
around a star
Every day and night
we go around
It’s Amazing that
we are tumbling around a star
I can’t believe we
are tumbling around a star
So when you find
your voice, you know you gotta make a choice
A reflection on a
direction gone as you drive and you dive while you try to survive
Looking for a sign
to know that you’re alive
When you stand,
sometimes you fall, you’re climbing the walls, working at the mall
Now you’re
stumbling around on the ordinary ground
It trips you up,
kicks you up to all of the dreams which are plain to see
Playing like a
movie on a giant screen with all of your friends, but they’re being played
By somebody else
and you wonder where they are
You know they’re
tumbling around a star.
In the dark and
light we go around
It’s Crazy that we
are tumbling around a star
I can’t believe we
are tumbling around a star
Running down the
herd and sticking to your word
Will always be the
path you see it never ends, it winds you down
And brings you back
along the trail to tell your tale of how you’ve come this far
Tumbling around a
star
It’s Amazing that
we are tumbling around a star
Driving in my car,
tumbling around a star
I can’t believe we
are, tumbling around a star
Drinking at the
bar, tumbling around a star
How fortunate we
are, tumbling around a star
Like a sample in a
jar, tumbling around a star
